The trip was fantastic. Despite the wind, Captain Keith put us on the fish. Couldn't believe it. 10 out of 5 stars.

We booked the 6-hour charter for my wife’s birthday, and she couldn’t stop smiling. The back country scenery was beautiful, and the action stayed steady with Snook, Trout, Ladyfish, and Jacks. We also spotted dolphins, manatees, sharks, and even Tarpon along the way. We kept four Trout, and Keith filleted them so we could have them cooked at Hog Heaven — they were delicious. Keith gave clear instructions and stayed engaged the whole trip, making sure we had the best experience possible. It was a memorable day on the water.

I can’t say enough good things about this trip. Captain Keith was dialed in from the start — friendly, experienced, and clearly loves being on the water. He put us on fish right away, and we kept the rods bent with Snook, Redfish, Trout, Jacks, Snapper, Permit, and even a 4.5-foot Blacktip Shark. At one point we were catching Snook cast after cast, and we even hooked a giant Tarpon that came out of the water like a rocket. The views throughout Everglades National Park were incredible, with sharks cruising the shallows, a manatee sighting, and even a distant crocodile. The boat was comfortable and well set up, and meeting up was simple. This trip went above and beyond what we hoped for, and we’ll absolutely be back. Huge thanks to Captain Keith for an unforgettable day on the water.

Captain Keith was awesome to fish with. The bite started off slow, but once things picked up we were into Snook, Redfish, and even hooked a Tarpon that put on a show before getting away. The highlight was a solid Tripletail that we later enjoyed for dinner at a local restaurant. Keith stayed positive and knew exactly how to adjust to keep us in the action. Highly recommend fishing with him.

Captain Keith took us out from Key Largo and had us on Trout right away. My daughters and I caught plenty of fish, with a few good shots at Snook and Redfish mixed in. The ride back got a little choppy, but it only added to the fun. Keith is great with kids and easy to spend the day with. We’d gladly book with him again.

We did the full day trip with Captain Keith, and he was fantastic. He’s easy to fish with, knows the area extremely well, and kept us on steady action throughout the day. We were reeling in fish one after another and having a great time. Highly recommend.

My two teenage boys and I had an excellent morning with Captain Keith. We stayed busy with plenty of Sea Trout, picked up a couple Snapper, and even landed a solid Redfish. The highlight was a huge Bull Shark that made the day one we won’t forget. A fantastic trip all around.

Fishing the backcountry with Captain Keith was a great experience for both my son and me. We’ve spent a lot of time on the water, but this fishery with Backbone Charters was something special. The boat was excellent, and Keith’s energy made the whole day even better. We couldn’t have asked for a more enjoyable trip.
